Doom Works

I've been making maps for the Doom community since late 2023, when I joined Doomworld. A lot of the works from the first year or so isn't great, but most work that I made in 2025 and after I've been pretty proud of.

I'm a big fan of the slaughter/challenge genre, which is basically just making fights that's either a legion of monsters coming at you in interesting ways, having the player figure out a puzzle with the combat, or maybe there's some tricky platforming. Heck, sometimes we can have all three of those and more!

I also strictly design maps for Boom/MBF21 format, which is more classic and limited to the original game. I've never designed a map for GZDoom or any other format or even other Doom games (except one shit Heretic map that never got released), so I recommend playing on my own preferred source port, DSDA-Doom, and with OpenGL settings for best performance.

I'll post my main solo works here on this website, but I also create a lot of maps for community projects. If you want to read more about those, I recommend you check out my Doomwiki page. Just know that a lot of these maps are very challenging.

My first megawad... or half megawad? Originally it was supposed to be 32 maps and I was going to release them in October 2024, but I never made it anywhere near that clearly. The older maps did not hold up well compared to the later ones so I decided to end it here with the halfway point, Truth II (which was a standalone release eariler), be the final map. I decided to not let the original ideas I had go to waste, so a lot of them are going into Devilbuster Dreams II.

Some maps are slaughtery, but most maps shouldn't take you more than 20 minutes to beat (except 05, 14, and 15). There's a faster pistol, edited base enemies (faster imp fireballs, faster pinkie run speed), lots of new custom enemies (from Scythe 2 and Struggle), and an extremely loud pistol sound.

"At this great time of blessing... I bid thee welcome to this distant setting, this abstract time."

Very challenging wad set in the post apocalypse. Will set the tone of the setting and the difficulty from the get go, and will not let up until the end. Don't just expect slaughter, expect some puzzles as well.

MAP07, MAP31, and MAP33 were maps that were from the Nova 4 community project, which those were removed post release. It's best they have their own release anyways. Those maps were made around October 2024 to April 2025, on and off. The solo project was started in August 2025.
